Welcome to Ventura Peace and Justice Network newsletter.
We publish a comprehensive calendar of progressive events. Check us out often at vcpjn.org/calendar/. We update multiple times a week.
This Saturday the Ventura County Peace & Justice Network will be at the Earth Charter Summit and Awards Program October 14 @ 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Gutherie Hall, Ventura College
We give thanks to Citizens for Peaceful Resolutions for granting us the Betty Eagle and Bill Hammaker Memorial Award.
Every year Citizens for Peaceful Resolutions presents Earth Charter Awards. The event is co-sponsored by Ventura College’s Global and International Studies Program.
In the spirit of Detroit activist, Grace Lee Boggs who said, “Children need to be given a sense of the ‘unique capacity of human beings to shape and create reality in accordance with conscious purposes and plans,” we are promoting kid/family spaces. Right now we have a work-in-progress page. Please let us know if you want to promote your kid/family space on our webpage.
