Hearing on Clean Energy Alternatives to Oxnard Power Plant

September 14, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Thanks to the powerful opposition of the people of Oxnard to another polluting power plant being built in our community, the California Energy Commission approved a study finding that clean renewable energy alternatives like solar power and battery storage could replace the Puente plant. The California Energy Commission is holding a public hearing on the results of this study in Oxnard on Thursday, September 14th. Their analysis shows a better future for our community is possible! Join us for public comment at 5:30pm to tell the CA Energy Commission to choose clean air for Oxnard!
