Veterans for Peace is an educational and humanitarian non-profit organization dedicated to the abolishment of war.  The Ventura County Chapter (VCVFP, chapter 112) was founded in August 2004. Chapter 112 has as a primary project the formidable educational task of introducing and disclosing military alternatives to local area high school youth. The chapter proudly funds annual high school scholarships to participating seniors.

The first Sunday of every month offers free admission at both the Museum of Ventura County (in Ventura) and the Agriculture Museum (in Santa Paula).
